MAP testing information

MAP (Measure of Academic Progress) testing is done 3 times a year to ascertain achievement level and progress in the areas of reading and math. Map scores are used by the teachers to determine strenghths and weaknesses in areas within the subject matter and adjust instruction accordingly. According to the website MAP is a "state-aligned computer-based testing system, MAP, is built on 30 years of research and refinement, and adapts to the child in real-time as the test progresses for a pinpoint picture of learning achievement and readiness."

Assessments are sent home with report cards.
